Attendance :

1. Theory Courses:

A candidates who has less than 85% attendance in the Theory Course shall not be permitted to sit for the End Semester Examination in the Course in which the shortfall exists:
Provided that it shall be open to the University to grant exemption to a candidates (who has a minimum of 75% classes but failed to obtain the prescribed 85% attendance for valid reasons), on recommendation of the Principal / Head of the Department on payment of a prescribed fee(s).

2. Practicum & Add-on Courses:

100% attendance is compulsory for the Practicum and Add-on Course.

(A record book will have to be maintained by the students for Practice Teaching and Microteaching. This will have to be produced before the panel of examiners (during the final teaching practical) for evaluation.)

 

College Uniform:

In Summer :    (For gents) White shirt & Black Pant.

(For ladies)White Churidar and Deep Green Churni. / Mekhela chaddar (White) with Deep Green border

In Winter :         As above and Navy blue Jacket or Sweater or Coat.

 

Some important rules and information of the Institution:

(i)        All students must be in College uniform on all the working days. Students without uniform shall be fined.

(ii)        Each student should obtain the Record Book to be issued by the Institution and make the entries in the Record Book as                     needed.

(iii)      All the teachers shall maintain records of their course activities, assigned to them in the Teachers’ Dairy maintained by the               Principal

Hostel Accommodation:

(i) Limited hostel facility is available in the College Campus. (Only for girls)

(ii) Attending classes while staying in the hostel is compulsory.

(iii) Violation of hostel rules shall be treated as indiscipline.

N.B. –   Candidates who fail to appear in the Unit Test, Terminal Examinations, Micro-Teaching classes and other sessional works shall not be allowed to appear in the B.Ed. Final Examination. In special cases only candidates may have consideration for relaxation on payment of fines and that too with permission from the authority.

Biometric Attendance for Students & Staff:

​           We use face recognition & Thumb Impression biometric attendance system for students and staff.
